Web Developer who
enjoys being involved in the product side? Can you add ideas and creative
thought to the product vision? Can you translate it in to an innovative

Our team is looking
for an innovative User Experience and Interaction developer who can move from
workflow and product discussion to developing specs and working closely with
development. If you have a passion for great design and love developing products
from concept to production code, this could be the position you’ve been
searching for.
Our group works on a
variety of projects so your skill set should be flexible enough to move across
rich client applications, gadgets, traditional web and Silverlight.
Responsibilities
include:
- Defining and documenting user
interaction and guidelines for multiple delivery platforms (web, desktop,
mobile, etc.)
- Articulating ideas through mockups,
prototypes for proof-of-concept, discussion and usability testing.
- Evaluating, and helping to define new
user interaction platforms.
- Understanding and evangelizing user
centered design and product development processes, standards, and best
practices.
- Demonstrating excellent interpersonal,
leadership, management, and communication skills that inspire, challenge
and motivate others.
- Working proactively with Product
Managers, Innovation and Developers to define, refine and follow through
on user experience solutions.
Qualifications
include:
- Outstanding communication skills,
self-motivated, highly organized, detail-oriented and able to work in a
team environment with potentially multiple projects.
- Understanding of fundamental design
principles (typography, layout, hierarchy, color, composition, animation).
- Ability to work closely with
developers, software architects and product managers.
- Ability to produce sketches,
storyboards, wireframes, scenarios, design prototypes, flows and specifications.
- Proficiency in a wide spectrum of
products, techniques and technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Expertise in the application of tools
and technologies across web, client and device.
- 3+ years experience designing and
developing forward thinking, user centered solutions
- BS/BA/MFA/degree in graphic design,
visual communications, computer science or related.
- Familiarity with ASP.NET(C#), Flash/ActionScript,
Expression Blend, DHTML, XML, JavaScript, Ajax, WPF and Silverlight a
plus.
