Description of position:

The Systems Integration Manager will lead a team of system administrators, database administrators and application support specialists supporting all computer operation functions in our Production, DR, Development, Quality Assurance and Client Testing environments.

Responsibilities/accountabilities:

This position is responsible for the proper functioning of our 24/6 global trading environment and our virtualized development and QA environments. Specifically the responsibilities include:

·         Monitoring , problem detection and resolution

·         Manage the change control process (hardware and software)

·         Proactively build/acquire tools to assist in the maintenance of the environments

·         Maintain vendor relationships

·         Capacity planning

·         Data replication, intra datacenter resiliency and Business Continuity

·         Proactively maintain and reduce environmental risks to increase resiliency and high availability.

·         Maintain run book, server build and operational requirements documents.

·         Maintain virtual environments for Development and Quality Assurance staff.

·         Champion technical innovation and recommend enhancements where appropriate

Skills:

Required

• Good written and verbal communications skills
• Strong leadership / motivational / mentoring skills.
• Demonstrated expertise of UNIX/Linux System Administrations skills
• Experience supporting large scale, 24/7, real time mission critical systems
• Proficiency with Veritas Cluster Manager
• Knowledge of Network routing, virtual IP, load balancing, and firewalls
• Substantial experience managing teams, ready to assume leadership role
• Vendor Management
• Release / Change Management

Preferred

• Oracle / Sybase installation, maintenance or DBA experience
• Proficiency with PERL scripting
• Proficiency with Xen and KVM virtualization
